US Debt Crisis

I do hope that the Tea Party mob decide to support the current proposition to fix the US debt crisis for the moment.

It seems that some of them are not willing to allow the tax rises for well heeled people or corporations that is needed.

Why is this? Cuts are needed, but tax rises for the rich are also needed. Do they want their invalid mother to suffer from the cuts they want?
